Millstream Area Credit Union is a financial co-operative. Our members each have a share in the credit union, they’re member owners. The initial $5.00 deposit to the account is called the par value. Par Value is each person’s “stake” in the Credit Union’s success. Regular Share savings accounts were designed to help people save and budget their financial futures. These accounts have been utilized for many different reasons depending on the member.
Features:
This is another type of savings account that is meant to keep funds for certain payments separate from funds the member would consider available. This alleviates the problem of spending your bill money by accident. These accounts have the capability to have automatic withdraws, and direct deposit or direct deposit distributions. One of the most convenient uses for the payment share is to have automatic payments for your loans or credit card payment here at the Credit Union. When you set up direct deposit and have funds distributed to your payment share, upon request, we can have your loan/credit card payments (to Millstream Area Credit Union) automatically debited from this account without any hassle. Stop waiting for the end of the month, writing checks, stressing over making it in to pay on time; get an account that is perfectly tailored to you and your financial needs.
Special Savings Accounts were designed to give each member the flexibility to save as they wish. This account has been used for many different reasons; some people use the account to save for tax season, others use the account for school season, save for weddings or parties or individual needs as they see fit. The special savings account works along the same lines as the Regular Savings Account
* You can personalize the account name through Internet Banking.
Millstream Area Credit Union recognizes that youth is the future of the Credit Union; however, our seniors are our present! We’ve got a savings account to honor those loyal seniors who’ve stuck with us all these years!

We are required to follow this procedure each time an account is opened, even if you are a current member of the Credit Union.
